HY-TECH HOUSE WASH. is an environmentally friendly, concentrated cleaner that can be used for a wide range of cleaning and de-glossing applications and is recommended for surface preparation prior to application of clear finishes, stains or paint. Unlike chlorine bleach based cleaners, Hy-Tech House Wash is biodegradable and will not harm wood fibers, pets, grass, or most plants.

Uses: Wood decks and patios should be cleaned with HY-TECH HOUSE WASH so as to remove dirt, mildew, fungus growth and grime. The scrubbing opens up the pores allowing the finish sealers or stain to penetrate deep into the wood.  Excellent for washing your homes siding, roofs, RV's, Mobile homes, boats, pool decks and patio furniture.
1 cup per gallon of hot water makes short work of removing grease from driveways and garage floors.

Mixing: Use 6 - 8 oz. (3/4 - 1 cup) of Hy-Tech House Wash powdered concentrate per gallon of water.
One gallon covers 100-200 sq ft., depending on porosity of surface.
Slowly pour into water and stir thoroughly until powder is mostly dissolved.
Powder dissolves faster in warm or hot water. Solution should be used within eight hours of mixing.

Application: Dampen surface with water before application.
Apply Hy-Tech House Wash solution with Hudson type garden sprayer, brush, broom or mop.
Let stand approximately 15-30 minutes, keeping surfaces wet with additional solution.
Thoroughly scrub with brush and rinse thoroughly with water from hose or low pressure washer held away from the surface so that you do not damage the wood. Allow wood surfaces to thoroughly dry before applying finishes.
Heavily weathered or soiled surfaces may require a second application.
Note: HY-TECH HOUSE WASH will darken some wood like redwood and oak but the darkening can be bleached out with wood bleach and brightener, (oxalic acid).

LIMITATIONS: All residual HY-TECH HOUSE WASH. solution must be removed after cleaning or deglossing by thoroughly rinsing with clean water. Any HY-TECH HOUSE WASH. left on the surface may act as a bond breaker preventing adhesion of paint or wallcovering adhesives. Do not apply HY-TECH HOUSE WASH. to polished aluminum surfaces as discoloration will result. Test an inconspicuous area before proceeding.

CAUTION: Do not mix with chlorine bleach or other chemicals. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes and prolonged contact with skin. Wear rubber gloves and eye protection. In case of eye contact, flush with water for 15 minutes. Get prompt medical attention. If swallowed, give milk or water. Do not induce vomiting. Call a physician. Keep out of reach of children. Do not take internally. Keep from freezing. Close container after each use.

SAFETY AND HANDLING: Solution will not harm grass and most plants. Rinse grass and plants thoroughly with water after exposure. Wet surfaces will become slippery.
